Every journey starts somewhere—often in the most unexpected places.
For us at SNTMental Factory, that beginning came in early 2025 during a difficult season marked by job loss, uncertainty, and a lot of unanswered prayers.
While taking online courses, applying for jobs, and facing silence in return, a thought began to tug at my heart:
What if I stepped out and did something I genuinely enjoy?
What if I allowed myself to try—really try—even without knowing the outcome?
What if I shared my faith openly, honestly, and imperfectly, right in the middle of the journey?
It seems simple in hindsight, but giving yourself permission to pursue something new—to invest time, resources, and heart into an unknown—pushes boundaries in ways you don’t expect. And through that stretching, I learned so much about myself. For that, I’m deeply grateful.
Why Clean, Positive, Story-Driven Music?
From the beginning, the vision was clear:
Create clean, enjoyable music that brings something good and relatable into the world.
Two things inspired this mission:
1. Clean Music Is Hard to Find
Kids catch on to catchy tunes faster than we blink—sometimes repeating lyrics they don’t understand, and honestly, lyrics I wasn’t comfortable with.
So I wondered:
What if we could create fun, exciting, memorable music… without compromising on values?
And even better—what if these songs could gently point children back to God, our Creator and King?
2. Music as a Bridge for Communication
One of my children has a speech delay, and communication hasn’t always been easy.
A speech delay isn’t simply difficulty forming words—it affects how they express needs, wants, joy, fear, memories, and emotions. Without clear feedback, it can be hard for a parent to know exactly what they understand. And that uncertainty sometimes made it frightening to leave them in someone else’s care.
Who else knows their gestures the way I do?
Who will recognize their expressions?
What if they’re misunderstood, ignored, or left frustrated?
These worries were heavy.
But fear is not where God wants us to live.
I had to continually remind myself to look to the Trinity—our Protector, our Helper—and trust that my children are made exactly as God intended. As much as I long for the day when there will be no more tears, I want to give my kids a sense of confidence and assurance in who God is right now.
And that’s when something beautiful happened:
They connected deeply with the music.
Songs became a bridge—helping with communication, teaching about God’s love, reinforcing family values, and even helping with practical things like routines and potty training. Rhythm and language together opened a new door for them, and their excitement and song requests have been such a joy to witness.
So… Where Are We Heading?
The answer is simple: forward, with joy.
We want to share our love for musical storytelling with anyone who wants to listen. Whether we have one fan or one million, we’ll keep creating, because this is a gift God has given us—and leaning into it brings so much joy.

Through it all, our prayer is that we remain obedient, that our work honors God, and that it brings joy and encouragement to others.
